Synthetic Putting Green Installation

2.  Removing Sod & Vegetation for the Sub-Base.

Remove all vegetation from the area where the golf putting green will be constructed.  We suggest that you rent a sod cutter to remove the sod.  Removing the sod will make your sub-base much firmer than if you don't take it out.  Remember, your location must be high enough to allow for water run-off.

Spray the area with effective vegetation killer. Finish preparing the area by laying out a weed barrier and secure it where your artificial putting green will be installed. The weed barrier will prevent grass from growing through your sub-base and through your backyard putting green.
